It started with 8 kids, 14 years ago.

Hamilton Police and Tim Horton's have teamed up again for the "earn-a-bike" program.

During the month of July, area children earned a mountain bike, helmet and bike lock, by completing 30 hours of community service work, including cleaning up local parks, schools, nursing homes and also Ivor Wynne Stadium.

Today 130 Hamilton area kids received a bike.
