The red ink continues to flow at U.S. Steel, but it's not as dark.
The steelmaker is reporting a second quarter net loss of 25-million dollars.
That compares to a 157-million dollar net loss in the first quarter.
It's also down from the 392-million dollar net loss in the second quarter of 2009.
CEO John Surma says increased prices were a big factor.
He's expecting an operating profit in the third quarter.
