Carole Pope is a Canadian rock singer-songwriter, whose provocative blend of hard-edged New Wave rock with explicit homoerotic and BDSM-themed lyrics made her one of the first openly lesbian famous entertainers in the world. Carole was the singer for a Canadian new wave rock band in the 1970s and 1980s, Rough Trade, which had a well-known 1981 hit "High School Confidential". In 2005, after returning to Los Angeles, Pope released a full-length solo album, Transcend. Six years later, in 2011, she released her second full-length album, Landfall, featuring a duet with Rufus Wainwright.

Ian Thomas (born 23 July 1950, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada) is a singer, songwriter, actor and author with his most memorable hit being 1973's "Painted Ladies". He is younger brother to famed comedian and actor Dave Thomas.
