Leave Your Gun at Home
Posted 7/29/2010 6:43:00 AM
Here’s an odd story out of Italy. A Wedding Photographer was killed when one of the Hunting rifles he asked the bride and groom to pose with accidentally went off.
This raises a couple of questions, the first being didn’t his mother ever tell him not to play with guns, and the second question, why would you want guns in your wedding photo?
This is definitely a tragedy that could have been avoided.
On a lighter note, your 1000 point bonus word for today is NOTES.
Your Happy Place

A list of the 10 happiest places on the planet was released the other day and there’s a Canadian City on the list. The popular Lonely Planet travel guide picked Montreal for its list of cheerful locales, noting that Canada's second-largest city hosts one of the world's biggest comedy events every July.
What city are you the happiest in? It could be the town you live in now, or maybe somewhere you have visited in the past.

Un-Retired

Amanda Bynes recently announced she was retiring from acting at the age of 24. I’m not sure if she realized she is going to be very bored for the rest of her life, or if she simply just misses acting. Whatever the reason, she has decided to “un-retire”. This got me thinking about the other celebrities who have retired and then changed their minds. Brett Favre comes to mind as possibly the worst offender. Roger Clemens and Michael Jordan are also examples, and Mario Lemieux too (although he was forced to retire the first time due to health reasons).
I think Brett Favre takes the cake though as the most in-decisive. What celebrity retirement do you think was the most ridiculous?
